· Airports - The nearest commercial airports to the event location are Killeen, Waco and Austin. The nearest private plane airports are Killeen and Temple. · Admissions – the three selected finalists will each be given two general admission tickets to the festival. Competitor admissions do not include access to the VIP tent. There is no cost for Kent Rollins book signing or the competition. Tickets can be pre-purchased HERE! · Wildcard Competitors - Competitors who show up to enter for the wildcard draw for the Cooking for Kent Competition will have to purchase admission into the festival. · VIP Area - Kent will be doing a special meet and greet and a presentation in the VIP tent. VIP ($125) & General Admission ($25 adult, $10 children) tickets are for sale HERE! · Hotels – The Hampton Inn located at 126 E Central Texas Expy, Harker Heights, TX 76548 is 3 minutes form the festival and is the host hotel. For additional hotel information CLICK HERE! · Event Location – The Harker Heights Food, Wine, and Brew Festival is held annually at Harker Heights Community Park, located at 1605 Knight's Way, Harker Heights, TX 76548 · Awards – First, Second & Third Place awards will be given for the Cooking for Kent Competition. There will be one award given for the Apron Competition. |
Timeline
· 2:00pm Festival Starts · 2:00pm – 4:00pm Apron turn-in at the competition tent · 2:00pm - 2:30pm Chosen competitors and Wildcard competitors must check-in at the competition tent · 2:15pm – 3:30pm Kents signs books at competition tent · 4:00pm – 5:00pm Cooking for Kent Fan Challenge at the competition tent · 5:15pm Awards Announcements · 5:30pm - 6:30pm Kent meet & greet, stories and behind the scenes for Cast Iron Cowboy in VIP tent. · 7:00pm VIP tent dinner for VIP ticket holders |
