We are excited to welcome you to The Harker Heights Food, Wine & Brew Festival and want to ensure that everyone enjoys a safe and memorable experience. Your well-being is our top priority, so please keep these important guidelines in mind:
1. Drink Responsibly: While we encourage you to enjoy the selection of alcoholic beverages available, please do so responsibly. Pace yourself and know your limits.
2. Hydrate: Alcohol can dehydrate your body, so be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the event. We'll have hydration stations available to keep you refreshed.
3. Designated Drivers: If you plan to drink, please arrange for a designated driver or use a ridesharing service to get home safely. We want to make sure you and your fellow attendees return home without any incidents.
4. Look Out for Each Other: Be a responsible friend and keep an eye out for your buddies. If someone has had too much to drink, help them find assistance or a safe way home.
5. Eat Before You Drink: Having a meal before consuming alcohol can help slow down its effects on your body. We'll have a variety of food options available to complement your drinks.
6. Know Our Staff: Our event staff is trained to assist you with any concerns related to alcohol consumption. Don't hesitate to approach them if you or someone you know needs help.
7. Pace Yourself: Enjoy the event at your own pace. There's no need to rush through your drinks; savor the experience.
8. Respect Others: Please be respectful of fellow attendees and event staff. Disruptive or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
9. Emergency Contacts: Keep your phone charged and have emergency contacts readily available in case you need assistance.
10. Arrive and Leave Safely: Plan your arrival and departure ahead of time. Ensure you have a safe way to get to and from the event.
Thank you for being a part of our event, and let's make this a memorable, enjoyable, and safe experience for all. Cheers to a fantastic time!
Sincerely, Rebekah Moon President & CEO Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center
